Under-6 (birthdate - 8/1/20 - 7/31/21)
Under-8 (birthdate - 8/1/18 - 7/31/20)
Under-10 (birthdate - 8/1/16 - 7/31/18)
Under-12 (birthdate - 8/1/14 - 7/31/16)
Under-14 (birthdate - 8/1/12 - 7/31/14)
*If a child has played in an age group for two years and now qualifies for a third year under the change, the parent can choose to move their child up to the next age group by contacting the league prior to registration.

Dates & Times
August 29 - November 7
Game on Saturdays each week plus one practice or game during the week for U8-U14.
Under-6 - Saturdays: 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
Under-8 - Saturdays: 11:00 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. / Tuesdays: 6:00 p.m. - 7:15 p.m.
Under-10 - Saturdays: 12:30 p.m. - 1:45 p.m. / Wednesdays: 6:00 p.m. - 7:15 p.m.
Under-12 - Saturdays: 1:45 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. / Thursdays: 6:00 p.m. - 7:15 p.m.
Under-14 - Saturdays: 3:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. / Mondays: 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.

*times may adjust based on number of teams.

Includes uniform shirt, shorts, and socks.
*Shin guards are required and not provided.

Format: 3v3 or 4v4 (no goalkeeper)

Introduction to competition and tactical play. Score is kept. Scores and standings are recorded for playoff seeding but not made public. Positions are rotated. Equal playing time for all. Emphasis is on development.

Game Time: 2 halves of 30 minutes
Offside (midfield)
Progression of competition and tactical play. Score is kept. Scores and standings are recorded for playoff seeding but not made public. Positions are rotated. Equal playing time for all. Emphasis is on development.

Format: 11v11

Goal Size: 8' x 24'
Field Size: 120 yards x 57 yards (360' x 171')
Game Time: 2 halves of 35 minutes

FAQ

What should the player wear and bring?
Always bring water. Appropriate clothing for athletics and the weather. No jewelry is allowed to be worn.
Equipment for players?
Parents provide shin guards and athletic shoes. Turf soccer cleats are fine but not required. No metal cleats.
Can I help coach?
YES, and BCRP will provide the training and background checks at no cost to coaches.
What if it rains?
We will play through rain showers. We will cancel due to heavy rain/thunderstorms and inform everyone via email.
